You must be a U.S. citizen to be eligible for the DOE NNSA LRGF.

I am a U.S. citizen.

You must be enrolled at an accredited U.S. university and pursuing your Ph.D. by fall 2027.

I understand that I must be enrolled in or entering full-time, uninterrupted study toward a Ph.D. by the start of fellowship in fall 2027.

You must be enrolled in a department by fall of 2027 that certifies that either:

1) No more than one term of teaching, grading, or other departmental support activities are required of students in the applicant's department.

2) If there are requirements to teach, grade or provide other departmental support for more than one term, they will be waived for the DOE NNSA LRGF fellow.

I understand that upon an official offer of a DOE NNSA LRGF award, I will be required to have my department chair/head sign a provided document certifying compliance with the above requirement.
